Hi, I'm Bec
I’m so pleased you found your way here so we might have the opportunity to work together to heal any physical problems impacting your quality of life or prevent their occurrence.
Embodied Experience
As a physio, pilates instructor and mum of 3, I’ve been treating patients in my physio clinic in the Noosa Hinterland for 13 years before I moved to Noosa, where I established my women’s health clinic, Embody Physio. I have over 24 years of experience providing caring, hands-on treatment for musculoskeletal injuries and pelvic floor issues.
You may be reading about me because you suffer from pain, incontinence, or pelvic floor issues. Or you would like help during and after pregnancy to reduce the risk of complications.
And you’d like to know whether I can help you.

My Vision
So let me tell you a little about how I work with women to strengthen and heal their bodies so they can move confidently, and, in doing so, answer some of the questions you may have.
My vision in creating Embody Physio, was to help women move with ease, enjoy life free from pain and fear and improve their physical health and well-being.
Why a women’s specific physio clinic?
Book Now-
Unique Needs
Because women have distinct needs when it comes to dealing with physical issues. Our hormones, body structure, and the experience of pregnancy and childbirth all mean we benefit from specialised physiotherapy skills and knowledge to advise and treat the physical issues unique to us as women.
-
Sensitivity
Also, bladder, bowel problems and pain during sex are all conditions that can cause embarrassment and sensitivity (although these issues are more common than spoken about). And often, women will feel more comfortable talking about and being examined by a woman. As a female, I understand the fear and hesitancy around discussing sensitive issues.
-
Reassuring Nature
I appreciate that women may feel anxious about the examination required for problems relating to the pelvic floor and incontinence. But my reassuring nature, experience as a physio, and understanding as a woman will help you overcome these reservations.

Caring Confidant
I will put you at ease and become a trusted, friendly confidant who genuinely cares about your well-being and comfort. Together we can work on a treatment plan to aid your recovery and have you confidently embracing all the activities you may have been avoiding.
Female-focused physiotherapy centres on strengthening the core, helping through pregnancy and childbirth, strengthening the control of urinary functions and pelvic muscles and alleviating pain.
